Please help spread the word about missing Shantelle Ladly-Rebetez out of Hamilton, Ontario.

UPDATE: We are very pleased to announce that Shantelle has been located and is safe. The Halton Regional Police would like to thank everyone for sharing the report. 


HAMILTON— The Halton Regional Police are asking for the public’s assistance in locating missing 16-year-old Shantelle Ladly-Rebetez out of the Hamilton area.

Shantelle was last seen on February 1st, 2017, at approximately 1 a.m. Her last known location is the Dundas Street and Highway #6, Waterdown area.

She is possibly wearing a royal blue winter jacket with fur around the hood. She was wearing two tone grey and black leggings and tan-coloured Kodiak boats.

Police are concerned for her safety.

Shantelle is described as:

• Gender: Female.
• Eyes: Hazel.
• Hair: Brown, shoulder-length.
• Height: 5’8″.
                                        • Weight: 190 lbs.

    I don’t believe it’s the children’s fault and no they are not to blame its people who are so close minded and the parents who should be to blame .No cares for these children no wander they are being abducted and killed and or rapedthan thrown out on the side of the roads like a price of garbag and it’s not there fault that someone dose care enough to go looking for them at least someone is doing something enstead of sitting on there high horse and judging them,they need love and understanding and someone they can trust and help them . I’m sorry but if you haven’t had a child go missing you will never feel the panic and fear and the thoughts that go through your head and as a parent you do everything you can before you get others involved.

    these kids dont understand all the resources that are used, and have to be used to try and find them…otherwise the resources, ie police etc can be help accountable…so, where does it stop …
