UPDATE: We are very pleased to announce that Ibrahim Kettina has been safely located in the Niagara region after walking an estimated 30 kilometres.
“He has been located safe,” Const. Steve Welton said from the command post established across the street from the man’s house. “He’s awake and being treated for medical concerns.
HAMILTON — The Hamilton Police is asking for the public’s assistance in locating missing 86-year-old Ibrahim Kettina out of the Hamilton area.
Ibrahim was last seen on October 14th, 2016. His last known location is the Meadowlands area of Ancaster.
Ibrahim has been diagnosed with the early stages of Alzheimer’s disease. He went out for a walk at 3pm and never returned.
Ibrahim is described as:
• Gender: Male
• Eyes: Brown
• Hair: Short, grey
• Height: 5’4″
• Weight: 134 lbs.
